Terms of Service
Effective date: 27 May 2026
These terms govern your use of webmaze.co.za and any services provided by WebMaze (Pty) Ltd ("WebMaze", "we", "us"). By using this site or engaging our services, you accept these terms.
1. Services
WebMaze provides Shopify development and commerce growth services to merchants. The specific deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are agreed in a separate written scope of work before any work begins. These terms apply in addition to that agreement.
2. Site use
This website is provided for information and lead generation purposes. You may not use it to transmit spam, malicious code, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to restrict access at our discretion.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, design, code, and graphics — is the property of WebMaze (Pty) Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of it without written permission.
For client work: upon receipt of full payment, WebMaze grants the client a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered work (the storefront, theme, or feature) for their own commercial purposes. WebMaze retains ownership of the underlying code, components, frameworks, and methodologies used to produce the work, as well as the right to reuse or adapt them for other engagements. The client may not resell, sublicence, or distribute the underlying code to third parties.
4. Payment
Payment terms for each engagement are set out in the applicable scope of work or invoice. WebMaze reserves the right to suspend or withhold delivery of work where payment is overdue.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, WebMaze's total liability for any claim arising from use of this site or our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance.
