How we handle information you send us through this site and while we work together.

WebMaze is a Shopify commerce agency based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We operate this website and deliver the services described on it.
2. What this covers
This policy explains how we handle information you share with us through this website, through the forms on it, and while we work together as a client.
3. Information we hold
The contact details you submit and anything you attach to an enquiry or brief. Separately, if you agree to measurement: which pages you view, your approximate location and internet address, your browser and device type, and a random identifier stored in your browser so repeat visits can be recognised as one person.
4. Cookies and measurement
No third-party tracking script runs on this site — no Meta pixel, no tag manager. Measurement happens on our own server, and nothing is recorded until you accept it. Essential cookies keep the site working. Measurement cookies are only set after you agree, last ninety days, and can be turned off at any time using the Cookies link at the bottom of any page.
5. Sharing with advertising platforms
If you accept measurement and then send us an enquiry, we tell Google and Meta that an enquiry happened, so we can tell which adverts are worth paying for. Your email address is irreversibly hashed before it leaves our server — we never send your name, address or message in readable form, and neither platform can recover them. This is a server-to-server transfer, which means your information is processed outside South Africa. If you decline measurement, your enquiry still reaches us and is answered as normal, and nothing about it is shared.
6. How we use it
To answer your enquiry, to deliver work you have asked for, and to keep records of those engagements. We do not sell or rent your information.
7. Third parties
The providers behind this site are Vercel (hosting), Resend (delivering enquiry email), Google Analytics and Meta (measurement, as described above). Each handles information only on our instructions and under their own obligations.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or object to the information we hold about you, at any time, by emailing us.
9. Changes
We update this page when our practice changes, and the date at the top moves with it. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
